Good Afternoon and welcome to PSNI Connect. I am Constable Andrea Curran and myself and Constable Colin McClure are the Neighbourhood Officers for Hilden, Magheralave, Harmony Hill and Wallace Park, Lisburn Council DEAs. I intend to use PSNI Connect to update residents within our community of Police activity and updates in relation to local issues. I will continue to promote the use of PSNI Connect and assist with sign ups. Hopefully it won't be long before we see a real increase in the use of PSNI Connect, creating a safe place for you all to communicate with me about what you feel is important for your local Neighbourhood Police Officer to be aware of. I will provide regular updates of our activities, engagements, events and pro-active work. Our focus is to help tackle drugs within the community, parking issues around schools, Anti Social Behaviour and raising awareness re Domestic Violence. Our aim is to ensure that people feel safe within the Community. This weekend as a team we will be focusing on community follows up in regards to anti-social behaviour and criminal damage. We will also be focusing on the use of E-Scooters in our area and the disruption and danger it causes road users and pedestrians.
